Description

The IS215ISBBH1A is a module component created for the Mark VI or Mark VIe systems from GE. Both of these systems were designed by GE for the management of gas and steam turbines, although the Mark VI does so by using a Central Control module connected to an HMI (human/machine interface) for data viewing,and to Input/Output termination cards to retrieve data from the rest of the system, while the Mark VIe is a distributed control system with control modules set up throughout the turbine in a nodal fashion that are all under central management. Both systems use software designed by GE to integrate fully with their hardware for a complete turbine management solution. The IS215ISBBH1A is a GE ISBB Bypass module. The module has two LED indicators on its front faceplate.These are labeled Receiver Active” and Not Bypassed.” The module name, number, and the manufacturer's logo also appear on the faceplate.The rear of the unit is notched and has multiple cutouts and slots to allow for different mounting options, depending on where the unit will be placed.Please be sure to install the unit securely. The top of the IS215ISBBH1A contains two side-by-side female jack connectors.Next to these is an open grate to allow heat to dissipate from the interior of the unit.The bottom of the unit also has an open grate to allow for airflow and has an additional female jack connector.It also has a two-position terminal strip. One side of the IS215ISBBH1A is blank.The other side has a three column chart that helps the user diagnose the front panel LEDs.This side also designates and names the ports on the top and bottom of the unit (P1-full duplex, TB1-10mA Max 24VDC, P2-Transmit Out, P3-Receive In.)
