Description

The IS200ERDDH1A is a board component created by GE for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI is a platform for the management of steam or gas turbines that was released by GE as part of the Speedtronic line. This system was one of the final Speedtronic systems. It features centralized control that can be built as either a simplex or TMR (triple modular redundant) system. The IS200ERDDH1A is part of the EX2100 Excitation Control system, which is designed to fully integrate with the Mark VI.It supports Ethernet LAN communication to the Mark VI, to the GE Control System Toolbox, and to the LS2100 Static Starter. It can also communicate with the Customer DCS through Modbus. The IS200ERDDH1A functions as an IGBT Exciter Regulator Interface/Dynamic Discharge board. The functions of the PCB include: It provides gate drive control to allow for field excitation. It allows for dynamic discharge that controls excessive dc link voltage. It provides bridge feedback, which monitors bridge temperature, dc link voltage, output field voltage, IGBT gate drive status, and output shunt current. In simplex applications,it is designed to control the (K41) de-excitation relay. In redundant applications, it is designed to control the (K3) charging relay. The IS200ERDDH1A is mounted in different locations depending on the type of system it is being used in.In simplex applications, a single ERDD board is mounted in the ERBP backplane. This board interfaces with the ERIO and the ERSC exciter regulator static converter board. In redundant applications, two ERDD boards are used. One mounts in the ERBP (M1) backplane, and a second mounts in the ERRB (M2/C) backplane. A diagram of the ERDD's application and connections in a simplex application is available in GE publication GEI-100488A.

Purchase

Please give us a call or send us an email for pricing on New Surplus and Reconditioned replacements that we have in our inventory. Our lead times are short, stock is excellent, and pricing is competitive. We hope to be your go-to supplier for all GE Turbine replacement boards and controls.

Exchange

We conveniently offer an exchange program that allows you to recycle your old board and receive an up-front discount on a replacement. Please ask about our exchange credit program if you have a defective board to exchange with the purchase of a new or reconditioned replacement. We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.

Repair

We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
