The IS200BPVAG1B is a PCB component made for the Mark VI series from GE.The Mark VI is part of the Speedtronic line of gas and steam turbine management systems.Before the Mark VI was released in the mid-1990s, GE had spent over thirty years developing ever more reliable turbine management systems under the Speedtronic name.The Mark VI includes a Windows-based PC operator interface that is preloaded with proprietary software designed for turbine management. It can be designed in redundant or Simplex form, with a varying number of modules depending on the complexity of the turbine system. TheIS200BPVAG1B functions as a backplane card within the Mark VI system. The IS200BPVAG1B is designed to be placed into a rack system that bisects the card.The front of the card remains outside the rack system and the back half the card is within the taller part portion of the rack.The back half of the board is populated with 21 board connectors to accept a variety of cards. Cards inserted into these connectors fit into and are supported by the surrounding rack system.The front of the board includes 41 I/Os to support the transfer of information to and from the boards plugged into the backplane. It is important to note the rack system, including fan and cooling assembly, is separate from theIS200BPVAG1B.
