The IS200BICLH1 is a component for the Mark VI series from GE.The Mark VI is part of the Speedtronic series for gas/steam turbine management and includes Ethernet technology with 10BaseT/100BaseTX and control block language with Boolean logic represented in relay ladder diagram format.The Mark VI series has an operating temperature of 0 to 70 degrees Celsius. The IS200BICLH1 functions as a Bridge Interface Board between Bridge Personality Interface boards (BPIA/BPIB/SCNV) and the Innovation Series Drive main control board.The IS200BICLH1 also has ambient temperature monitoring and a fan pulse width modulated speed control interface. The board mounts into a VME type rack and connects via two backplane connectors (marked P1 and P2.) The IS200BICLH1 has a narrow front faceplate that includes the board ID, the GE logo, and a single opening.The board is marked “Install in slot 5 only.” While the board does not include any kind of LED indicators, fuses, test points,or adjustable hardware, the board does include four RTD (resistance thermal detector) sensor inputs as well as a serial 1024-bit memory device.The board has four relays, which are used for several functions. It is important to remember to turn off power to the board and test to verify that no power exists in the board before touching it.This protects the technician and prevents electric shock from occurring.
