The IS200BICHH1Ais a Bridge Interface and Control board manufactured by GE for their Mark VI system.The MKVI is one of the later Speedtronic gas and steam heavy-duty turbine management systems.The Speedtronic series has been managing turbine systems since the late 1960s, with each new system improving on the last with more technologically advanced components. The IS200BICHH1A is designed to mount into an Innovation Series board rack. The board has a narrow black front panel with a display located along the top third and a plug connector (labeled JM) inserted into the bottom third.This board installs into slot five only. The IS200BICHH1A takes multiplexed phase faults from the FOSB board and demultiplexes them. The board interfaces with twenty-four gate drivers for the neutral-point clamped (NPC) H-bridge.Cooling temperature for the board is monitored by a subassembly. Each subassembly monitors cooling temperature at two locations with thermistors. The IS200BICHH1A is populated with twenty-nine TP test points, eighteen LEDs, two backplane connectors, and two fuses.The LEDs are for signal observation. The board also has over forty integrated circuits, many capacitors, and resistors.Resistors are usually made of metal film. The IS200BICHH1A should always be treated as though it were static sensitive. Technicians should wear a wrist grounding strap while handling this component.
