Description
The GE Firing Circuit Board DS3800DFCF1 features 17 single-pin connectors and 3 potentiometers for adjusting the current. The GE Firing Circuit Board DS3800DFCF1 also is populated with 7 jumpers.
A trained and qualified technician can use the potentiometers to adjust the amperage and voltage and other factors available to the circuits. The IDs of the potentiometers are R1, R2, and R3. A calibrated testing device is necessary to have on hand while you adjust the potentiometers. The board is configured before it is installed. The servicer must wear a wrist strap. Place the board on a level surface that is clear of debris, dust, dirt, and oil. Once the adjustments are final, write down the final measurements so that you can use them at a later date. Store them with the other important information related to the board. For example, the shipping label, information about the warranty, and a description of how to contact customer service.
Another configuration task is to set the jumpers for your specific processing requirements. There are 7 jumpers on the board that require your consideration. First refer to the information about the jumpers in the printed information supplied with the board. Decide with the engineers and managers at the site how to configure the board using the selections available with the jumpers. All the jumpers come from the factory set at the default position. It is the most commonly used position for the jumpers. If you have to move the jumper, pull up on the jumper and move it to the pins you want to use for the configuration.
