Description
The DS3800DCMC1 is a printed circuit relay (PCB) manufactured by GE as part of their Speedtronic Mark IV series. The Speedtronic control system is designed with interconnected chipsets with intentional redundancies; if one control card experiences a fault, control and communication functions are shifted to other chips while the one is being diagnosed and repaired, and meanwhile, the entire system will run without a forced outage. The DS3800DCMC1 has been designed for use as a regulator card.
The DS3800DCMC1 has the following specs:

Two 13-pin male I/O connectors. These sit side-by-side in the middle of a long side of the board.

To the left and right of these, in the corners of the boards, are two LED displays. Each of the displays has the labels TXDA, RXDA, CTSA, DSRB.

A ribbon cable. This is located on the long edge of the board opposite the I/O connectors.

Five plug ports labeled P1 through P5. These sit in the corner of the board, parallel to a long side, next to the ribbon cable.

One communications relay, located behind one of the LED displays

Three jumper switches (orange) located 1. near the communications relay, 2. behind the first I/O connector 3. behind the second I/O connector

We ask that the defective board is sent in within 30 days of the purchase.
Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
