Description
The GE Printed Circuit Board DS3800DCMB1C1B features 1 40-pin connector and multiple EPROM modules. It also is populated with 4 indicator LEDs, 7 jumpers, and 1 20-pin connector. The IDs for the LEDs are TXDA, RXDA, DTSA, and CDA. The LEDs are available for the operator to view for a quick status of the operation of the drive. If a problem is found with the processing, one or more LEDs might lit. For a complete description of the LEDs, refer to the information provided from the factory. For example, if the TXDA LED is lit, locate the information about that LED in the printed troubleshooting instructions.
When the board is operating without error, the operator will view the board from the drive window and note that the LEDs are off. The operator will know that no errors are found and that the board is processing as required.
The board is attached to the drive components through the 40-pin ribbon cable. The ribbon cable provides for 40 separate signals to transmit from the board to other components and boards in the drive. Some of the 40 signals are used by the board to receive signals from other boards. The board is designed to receive signals from other boards and process the information. Then, transit the information to other boards for further processing.
When you replace the board, first hold the ribbon cable connector and pull it from the connector on the board. Then carefully remove the board from the drive. Refrain from touching other components in drive with the board as you remove it.

Repair
We offer repair on most GE Turbine boards we sell. Although we usually have replacements available, we recognize that customers may prefer to have their board repaired. Our repair program allows us to offer a lower cost alternative to replacement.
