Description

The DS3800DBPF1 is a GE motor field board or printed circuit board (PCB) designed to be part of a Speedtronic Mark IV system. The Speedtronic Mark IV system was designed for the management of steam and gas turbine systems with significantly less downtime. GE achieved this by creating an interconnected system of microprocessing data boards with built-in redundancies; when one unit has an issue and needs to be serviced, the responsibilities of that board are automatically taken up by another chipset and the system continues to work as a whole, allowing for the repair of the damaged module with no lost efficiency. The DS3800DBPF1 is designed to be an ac input module.

The DS3800DBPF1 has the following attributes:

• it has been factory-drilled at each corner of the board for one mounting option.

• it has been created as an auxiliary board for GE Control Board model #6BA00

• it has 5 connector pins to plug into the corresponding motherboard. These are located on the short sides of the DS3800DBPF1, three on one side and two on the other, and are labeled 1,2,3 and 4 and 5.

• it has one electromechanical communications relay (58614.) This sits parallel to one of the long sides of the board and is labeled HFW 1K 48 218A.

• it has one CR capacitor
